I have no idea about on line courses but the only thing you will be able to learn is the theory behind gaming. Most of the things that are shown on a training school are done to improve mechanical skills, on American Roulette it’s cutting down chips in varying amounts, pushing out chips, isolating the winning number, clearing the layout, opening up the winning number, setting up the payout and spinning the ball.
Blackjack and Poker is card placement, drawing cards from the shoe, dealing from your hand, there are different types of shuffle for Blackjack and Poker, there are different ways to payout multiple denomination bets.
These are only some of the mechanical skills that you will need to learn for the basic games that are usually taught in the 6 to 8 week training course. I would find it help full if someone went to the trouble of learning the non mechanical elements of the games before coming for an interview, it’s something that can only help if you tell the interviewer about it.

I would think that most recognizable casinos would want you to take classes in person to work on dealing and shuffling techniques with a certified instructor. Even with non-card games, you should practice on a real table with many people, which is something you can’t get in an online course.
