well, that never happen to me ....yet. Yes, they can ask you to leave when you're on a winning streak. the casino is to make money and not to lose money. If you watch discovery channel/casino this program will show you everything about how a casino operate. They give you the do's and don'ts. They also stated in this program the casino will ask any one who is winning a lot of money to leave and its legal, without telling you why.

An interesting question finally. Yes I dare say that I've been asked to leave a casino. I was accused of playing for too long and wagering too much at craps. Well, does betting $1k on a C&E, parlaid a several times and won each time count? Also, I rolled the dice for over 2.5 hours, it that a crime or just luck? They initially accused me of cheating, escorted me to a 'room' and 'questioned' me for a while. I was alone, had nothing on my person (yes I was frisked) and the dice were THEIRS! After all was said and done, they ended by apologizing for 'assuming' that I cheated, comped me rooms and food and STILL escorted me out! Whenever I visit, the table limit, where I play mysteriously goes up before my turn... They must love me. Bottom line, they can ask or even remove anyone at any time, when they believe the person is cheating or 'betting above their means'. A casino is a private property and the law does not interfere with a decision to remove someone.

No, im sad to say never happened to me. I also dont think this has ever happened online, so there is another oprion.

Check it has a bunch of storys about players that have been "asked" to "leave" by the casinos, meaning they were caught cheating.

I haven't had the "pleasure" of being asked to leave because of winning to much. I did have a bit of a winning streak years ago. I kept hitting wins of 50 - 250 on a dollar slot machine. Spent hours at the one machine. The slot attendant kept cheering me on. Had a blast. Left with around 2 grand, I'm sure a small amount to the casino.

Casinos are in the business to make money. They have the right to refuse to allow people to play and can ask people to leave. I wonder though if it's not the attitude of the person winning that causes the problems

Yes casinos can ask you to leave, but will only do so if you're winning too much AND they feel that you will continue to win at their expense. The last part can't be emphasized enough and needs to be understood. If you are playing a game where the casino knows you're not cheating that has a theoretical positive return for the casino over the long term they will continue to let you play as long as your bets are not so large as to break the casino, which is a VERY rare occurrence to say the least ! I don't think you gave us enough information to adequately explain why your friend was ACTUALLY asked to leave. Perhaps he was counting cards ? Not illegal but, the casino realizes they will lose money in the long run.

I wish.
The Casino can ask you to leave any time for any reason. However there must be a good reason to alienate a player who might just be on a roll. Normally if the house thought you were just on a streak they would comp you so you would STAY in their casino and eventually lose your winnings. If someone were cheating and the casino security people could prove it, you would find yourself in their security offices answering some difficult questions. Remember the house always has the edge.

A casino is private property and they can ask anyone who they want to leave at any time. Even if they are just too strong a player for the house. I suspect the staff thought there was something suspicious about his play even though he may have been legit. Think about it this way, a casino makes money by having people play. You win some days and lose other days but they need big players. For them to ask a player to leave, they have to have good reason.
